Da Fu Seafood Restaurant 大福海鮮酒樓

I visited this place with my family for yum cha dim sum on a weekday morning, it was quite busy at that time. Despite some previous complaints about service, I found the service to be good and efficient during our visit. The dim sum dishes offered excellent value, with prices noticeably more affordable compared to other dim sum places in Markham and Scarborough. My personal favorite dish was the Seaweed Rolls Stuffed with Shrimps.

Yummy yummy seafood. There's a multi-course option for 6-8 people that comes with huge portions of lobster and crab, and other things. Great value for what you get. If you're not Chinese, don't worry, the menu's in English and the people are very friendly!

We came here on Sunday around 1:30pm and still very busy at that time. The server is very welcoming and foods served fast. It is regular Chinese restaurant serving seafood and dim sum . Most of sizes are the same price at 4.98 for weekend,4.78 for weekly and amount of each meal is large. We come here with 4 ppl then chose dimsum & some special week meal. Totally reasonable price

My relatives and family often go to this place to eat dim sum. Always busy near the entrance for brunch time. The menu was easy to order. The food was delicious and served quickly. Recommend must have dim sum: big rice noodle with meat or shrimp, dumplings, chicken feet, Congee, stir fry noodles, etc.

This is my mom's favourite restaurant and they really do have fantastic Cantonese food at super reasonable prices. She drives from Ajax to have dinner here almost every week. Our faves so far are the fried honey oyster, crispy fried cuttlefish, snowpea shoots with oyster mushrooms, and the stirfried pork neck with vegetables. My mom recommends the single order items over the large group combos. If you want something familiar to compare it to: both the taste and value blow Congee Queen out of the water. Plenty of comfortable seating, clean facilities and high quality ingredients that you can definitely taste. I think they deserve so much more business than they're getting. They're even open late, which is rare right now. The location and the fact that they're geared towards the niche of older Cantonese folks (definitely easier to communicate if you speak Chinese) who mostly moved up to Richmond Hill and Vaughn now, is probably the reason they're not busier. They could definitely use some more advertising to get their name out there. Plenty of people would be willing to drive outside their neighbourhood for great Cantonese food! Absolutely check this place out if you're one of them, and help spread the word because I really want them to stay in business. Cantonese restaurants are getting rarer and rarer nowadays.

Super busy during dinner time so recommend making a reservation! Seafood dishes are usually more fresh compared to other Chinese restaurants

This restaurant offers a traditional Cantonese food menu and very generous portions at super reasonable prices in today’s economy/skyrocketing food prices. Staff was friendly and attentive. I gave atmosphere 4/5 because it’s nothing fancy (however it is newly-ish renovated) and I would say about half the patrons there were retirees (it’s not a hip, young crowd kinda place is what I’m saying). I can’t stress enough about the value of this place. Their dim sum prices also look amazing. We excited to come back to try their dim sum very soon!
